What is the frame generator?

Can I upload my own photo?

What are decorative edges?

SDF-sculpted silhouettes that reshape the outer and inner frame — scalloped, postage-stamp perforations, 35mm film sprockets, polaroid extension, octagon chamfer, cathedral arch, ziggurat steps, wave, zigzag, torn deckle and ticket stub notches.

How does PBR lighting work?

A GLSL shader builds a frame profile (thickness*0.35, bumpScale=bevel*6), then computes normal, diffuse, specular (pow(N·H, shininess)), fresnel (pow(1−N·V,4)), ambient occlusion and shadow (exp(-dist/blur*0.5)), plus vignette and texture — all driven by light angle.

Can I add a custom texture or SVG?

Yes. Upload a PNG or SVG; it is sampled as u_texture and mixed with the base color via texture blend and scale uniforms.

What resolution is the export?

PNG up to 2400px on the long side, ratio preserved, with canvasW/H = ceil(imgW/H + (thickness+padding+shadowBlur*2+10)*2) — shadows and frame are baked.

Is it free and private?

Yes. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and everything runs locally via PixiJS/WebGL — your photos never leave the device.
