The short version

EditPhotosForFree does not upload, store, transmit, or share your photos. Every editing tool runs entirely in your browser. Your images never touch our servers. We don't have accounts, so we don't have your email, name, or any other personally identifiable information.

What we collect

We collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics through Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics. We log: page URLs visited, referrer, country (derived from IP, not stored), device type, and browser. We do not log IP addresses, user agents, or any information that could identify you.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other social media tracking tools.

What we don't collect

• Your photos — they never leave your browser.
• Your name or email — we have no signup, no account system.
• Your IP address — Plausible aggregates country-level data only.
• Any cross-site tracking identifiers beyond what Google AdSense uses for advertising purposes as disclosed in our cookie policy.

Your photos stay on your device

When you use any EditPhotosForFree tool, your image is loaded into your browser's memory and processed using Canvas and WebAssembly. The processed result is offered as a download back to your device. At no point is your image transmitted over the network. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools and inspecting the Network tab during an editing session.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense and privacy-respecting ad networks (EthicalAds and Carbon Ads). Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites across the internet. This is known as interest-based advertising.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party ad networks, including Google, may display ads on our site and may use cookies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements. These third parties do not collect personally identifiable information without your consent.
