EditPhotosForFree is a collection of twelve free tools for editing photos and images — built to be fast, private, and completely free. Everything runs right in your browser, on your device.

Why we built this

Most online photo tools ask you to upload your files to a server, create an account, and accept a paywall before you can do anything useful. We think that's backwards. Your photos are personal, and they shouldn't have to travel across the internet just to remove a background or make a collage.

So we built a set of tools that do the work locally in your browser. Modern browsers are powerful enough to run image editing and even AI models on your own machine — which means your files never leave your device, and there's nothing for us to store, sell, or lose.

How it works

When you open a tool, it loads entirely on your device. You pick an image, and it is processed by your browser using your own hardware — including the AI-powered background remover, which runs a neural network locally via WebGPU.

No uploads, ever. Your images are read by your browser and processed on your device. We have no server that receives your files — so there's nothing to leak.

What makes it different

  • Private by design. All processing happens in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
  • No accounts. Open a tool and start working instantly — no sign-up, no email required.

  • Works offline-ish. Once a tool is loaded, most of it keeps running even if your connection drops.
